AZGOP chair contract renewed by AZ Senate GOP
Gina Swoboda's contract was renewed another month for $15,000
In May, the Arizona Senate GOP renewed the contract for Gina Swoboda, chair of the Arizona Republican Party, to continue advising the Senate Elections Committee for an additional month.
This extension grants her an extra $15,000, adding to the $15,000 per month she received from taxpayers between January and April, and $7,500 each for her services in November and December – totaling $90,000.
Fourth Estate 48 first broke the news of Swoboda's contract in February 2023, revealing the significant taxpayer-funded payments. But unlike regular government employees, Swoboda is not receiving any additional benefits from the state or taxpayers. However as the AZGOP chair, she does have a lot of power within the party and is able to benefit greatly from $90,000 especially considering the AZGOP chair position is unpaid.

I remember covering the fake elector scandal and the Arizona audit drama when it first unfolded in 2020 and 2021. Notably, Giuliani's actions even led to a
