I’ve been really grateful for how many new subscribers there are lately and wanted to provide a quick update since I’ve been rather quiet as of late enjoying some time away from the news post-election.
I gave myself 45 days (what I thought was a reasonable amount of time) to gain 100 new subscribers with 20 of them paid. You all really came through and 105 people subscribed with 30 paid (some new, some upgraded from free) in just 16 days, which is truly freaking amazing.
Please keep it going if you can by subscribing, sending to someone else who may be interested or gift a subscription as well while prices are at $5/month and $50/year.
We are in an awkward time right now with the Ducey administration about to hand the keys over to the Hobbs administration and as a result I still have so many outstanding records request that I doubt will get fulfilled before the new year, so as a result I am planning to finish up one (or two) more posts this week before shutting down for the month and returning just in time for a new set of statewide elected officials to harass with records requests.
I, for one, am excited and hopeful this new slate will turn over all the outstanding requests I have, especially every single request I sent to the current governor’s office because they’ve simply refused to turn anything over.
I guess that’s government at the speed of business.
Anyway, I wanted to let you all know to expect more from me this week and then I will be spending my off time coming up with fun requests to make in the future so this newsletter can really start popping in 2023.
I have no plans to stop and will start to branch out into local governments shortly (hint hint this week). Please send me any ideas you have for requests or any advice you may have for me moving forward. Dillon@fourthestate48.com is my email or reply to this if you already subscribe.
Thank you for joining me on this ride, it’s only going to get more wild and fun next year.
